Healthy Homes Program Manager
Maria Bejarano graduated as Community Health Promoter. She joined the Esperanza Community Housing promoter class in 1996. Since then, she has been working for the community of South-Central Los Angeles.
Over the years she has worked on different projects and programs such as Healthy Breathing where she visited families who had people with asthma. She is the Manager of the Healthy Homes Project. In this project she managed the Lead Free Homes Program in the City of Willowbrook and Compton.
She is currently collaborating in the Integrated Pest Management Project. Over the years she has seen how small changes have made a big difference in the South-Central community. Which has always been her motto "Small changes make a big difference." She is proud to be part of the Esperanza Community Housing Organization and to be a promoter of Esperanza.
