Ivy joined Esperanza in 2016 as its Development Director overseeing development and fundraising efforts of the organization.

Ivy brings more than 20 years of nonprofit experience in the areas of direct service, program development, operations, and fund development. Since high school, she wanted to pursue a profession improving the lives of others and strengthening communities. Ivy obtained a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Rochester and a master’s degree in education from Harvard University.

She spent most of her childhood in Illinois but is now firmly rooted in Los Angeles. Ivy believes strongly in nurturing youth as future leaders to ensure the growth and success of Esperanza and the greater social justice movement.
