Ana Guzman
Board Member
Ana brings years of community leadership experience to her role at the nonprofit organization, FEAST. For 10 years as a leader at FEAST she established new partnerships with local schools and community centers, helping to spread FEAST’s programs to additional neighborhoods in South LA, served as a FEAST group leader, organizer and recruiter, assisted with translating FEAST’s program into Spanish, and now focuses on broadening the programing and deepening relationships with current Group members and alumni.
Other roles as a community leader have included being a member of the committee of Los Angeles for Vision y Compromiso, East Los Angeles Women’s Center Promoter, chairperson for the English Learners Advisory Committee, and chairperson for the School Site Council. Additionally, she has served as a translator, LAUSD district meetings representative, and parent board member for the Alliance Board of Directors.
As part of Esperanza Community Housing’s 2023 Promotores de Salud class, Ana participated in other trainings like the UCLA-LOSH Program, the USC-CTSI research program, the USC & Stanford CEAL Program, CARE2 Community Scientist Program with USC and Florida University.
